Today, my new glasses arrived. I’m still adjusting to them, but so far the weird glow around text is mostly gone. I can see the TV without straining my eyes, read books again without struggling and hopefully no longer misread people’s text to me. Let me tell you, there were some very entertaining times when I misunderstood or misread someone’s messages to me. Haha
In Scouts, we have a mission statement that we follow, a scout law and a motto. Basically it says, that we should do our best to be honest. That we are to be understanding, considerate to all, be kind and helpful. We’re to take responsibility for ourselves and our actions. To be strong, to be supportive and to give others the same respect we wish to receive. We are not to be afraid to ask or give help, regardless of troop. We are to “have fun, BE fun” and leave a place or a person better than we found it and to be a sister or brother to every scout. These rules are the epitome of what a Scout is and who we are…but it’s also something everyone should work towards.

I grew up in the South. I grew up being taught to be kind to others. That you were always to be polite and friendly. That you never treat another with disrespect or intentionally hurt their feelings. Basically what scout law means. So, the other day when I was trying to help someone inworld, being accused of being rude really hurt. I know I shouldn’t let it bug me, but it did. A lot. I’ve always been kind to this person and she has always turned it into a challenge of who can out do who, accusing me of being rude, belittling me. Telling me I’m “cranky” when I’m not. Accusing me of being dismissive of her when I wasn’t. I finally walked away. I’m glad she’s out of my life. I hate saying it, but she really needs an attitude adjustment and to learn that people only respond in kind. If she’s cranky and bitchy with people, they’re going to return the favor in kind. There’s only so much people will help someone who only seems to want to complain. It really bugged me that I was treated like this when I was only helping.
This picture supports the feelings and ideals of what I feel it means to be fun, being kind, considerate, honest, understanding and polite. We hold butterflies and daisy’s, which are symbols of strength and beauty. Innocence and purity. We had a lot of fun with this picture. The picture is with a new blogger friend, Kelly Parker. She’s got great pictures and is very creative in her craft. We signed up for the Blogger n Vlogger Collaboration Challenge and were paired together. It was a lot of fun coming up with the theme and finding a comparable time to take the picture. We chose a country theme this time. Both of us are wearing the newest dresses from Ison available at Collabor88 complete with the matching corset. I’m wearing cowgirl boots with beautiful hearts from KC Couture. KC’s shoes are some of my favorites. They are well made and affordable making any outfit classy and low cost. Our hair is from Truth Hair, mine was complete with a cowgirl hat. I completed my outfit with eye appliers and eye lashes from Mila, skin from Pumec. Finalizing the look with a prop from BellePoses that are available from OhMyGacha and the last session of The Project Se73n.
