I saw a meme on Facebook the other day that showed a boat on the ocean and described how we are all in the same boat and that we were all struggling. The problem with this meme that I saw is we are not all in the same boat. We are in the same ocean but it’s not the same boat. My boat is different from yours and your boat is different from mine. My boat gives me my constant companions of Agoraphobia, Anxiety, and PTSD. And now Major Depression. Our boats aren’t the same. We are all different, going through different trials and we all have our ways of dealing. Be kind to people. You never know what they’re going through.
I’ve thought a lot about starting a creative business in SL revolving around graphic design principles like logo design, poster design, and possibly some mesh items. I’d like to expand my knowledge of Blender so I can create geeky sci-fi decor items like Rank Shadowboxes so people can display their well-earned ranks and awards from the various fan groups they are in, mesh tricorders, and other fun rp stuff. For years I have looked for a shadowbox that is low land impact and good quality. Maybe I’ll do something with that next year.
