This OH! Deer! Kittens! post is a little late since I was sick off and on yesterday with high glucose levels and a lot of breathing issues. The worst is when my blood glucose rises over 200 for no reason or when drinking water makes me feel sick to my stomach. It makes me mentally fogged where all I can do is stare at the screen with a blank brain and a blank page. Living with diabetes is hard but add in asthma, PTSD, and agoraphobia to the mix, I sometimes feel like I’m in hell.
Keyboard Warriors
Some people don’t understand and make snap judgments, basing their views on the surface of whatever they see on social media like Facebook. They don’t know what lies under the surface. They don’t see that at the moment, you may be struggling. They don’t know that you have a flashback that overwhelms you, causing the anxiety and fear to close over your head like you’re sinking underwater. All they see is that one post on social media that offends them, then make a snap decision about your character.
It really amazes me how judging people can be without knowing the full story… So today was one of those days that started out okay, but by afternoon sucked so bad. Not because of anyone (other than the occasional keyboard warrior playing the big boy online), but more sucked medically. Which is why I am late in posting this week…

Animals don’t judge you like the keyboard warrior on Facebook. Well, maybe my cats. Simba has that look about him. It’s a good thing the deer is more accepting. He was exploring when he discovered the kittens sleeping with me. I’m sure he would have joined us if he could have found the room. Haha!
