Lately, my health has been a bit off. It isn’t COVID-19 since I’ve been dealing with this for far longer and it’s just steadily getting worse. The focus is mostly on the COVID-19 patients so people who have other conditions are sort of left out of the mix having to worry about how they’ll get the care they need. This shows why it is so important to “flatten the curve” by staying at home as much as possible. I also worry about my friends who are always out in this whether they are healthcare workers, retail workers, delivery couriers or any other essential job. They’re out in the middle of it.
I am so grateful that my sponsors for this blog are all understanding of these things and don’t pressure me. Some of them have even set my account as a VIP which I am astoundingly grateful for, especially the months I struggle to make deadlines. They truly care about the people they have blogging for them by showing they understand that, at this time, things could be up and down for their bloggers and they don’t want to add any more pressure. I can’t say the same for other bloggers I have heard from who have had sponsors come down on them hard for working too much in RL and not posting enough on their blogs or their Flickr. I’ve been taking notes and will never blog for them…but hearing these stories makes me even more grateful that my sponsors are all kind and caring people.
