This week there was another photo challenge that I participated in involving close ups and using depth of field. At first it was difficult for me. I wasn’t sure why my computer kept making my hair look weird on the edges, but after awhile I finally figured out that if I move the CC slider too far to the right, it blurs out one side of my face, too far to the left and it makes the hair look funky. Had to adjust the FOV until it was just right before it looked normal. I’m very pleased with the final result! There is a screenshot in credits below for my settings and windlight!

My dad is still very sick. He seems to be recovering from his surgery but he’s barely eating. Even though we offer him food…even make him a plate up and he’ll either not eat it or he’ll eat only a few bites and say that he doesn’t like it. You can see the bones in his legs. We’re not sure what to do at this point. So, we’re feeling helpless and tired. I’ve never seen his legs so skinny before. Please, whatever you do, whether it’s positive thoughts or prayer, send it our way…We need them.
