The good stuff comes to you in all sizes, shapes and forms. It can be your best friend, your lover, or a pet. If you’re blessed you have all of the above. Pets are amazing…they give you this unconditional love that only a pet can give. Pets don’t judge you. They don’t tell you that you’re lacking. Pets don’t call you “high maintenance” because you want a decent conversation and respect.
They are part of the good stuff of life. They give you this love that just brings you peace. A pet can take away all the pain just by leaning against you while you’re resting after surgery. Sleeping in your bed and snuggling with you. Playing with you. Talking to you in their own way. All kinds of things a pet can do. It’s too bad they don’t live forever because if you’re lucky, there is a special bond between you and your pet like I had with my Robin.
When I saw this set of Naughty pets Gacha from my sponsor, MOoH!, I just had to take a picture with them. The grey cat reminds me so much of Robin of a different color. She had that face. The sass and sweetness. The love that was in her eyes and at the end the fear that only my voice could calm. The cat brought back a lot of memories…all of them good, only one very sad. That was when she left us forever. I loved doing this picture because it made me think of all the wonderful times I had with my kitty and yet I was sad too because she’s no longer with me. She was one of my “good stuff” and I treasure her memory always.
